Trellis Foundation Welcomes New Vice President of Programs 

Trellis Foundation is pleased to welcome Dr. Robin Ellis as our Vice President of Programs (VPP). The Foundation anticipates continued growth and evolution of our grantmaking in the coming years. The VPP will play a key role in managing, inspiring, and mentoring a team to refine, expand, and execute the Foundation’s grantmaking strategies. 

As the senior programmatic leader, Dr. Ellis will be responsible for ensuring that the Programs team operates at the highest level of effectiveness and impact, and that team members continue to develop their professional skills and strengthen their grantmaking strategies and practices. She will also play a significant role in advancing the Foundation’s values with partners and stakeholders. 

Dr. Ellis joins the Foundation with more than 20 years of experience in postsecondary transformation and systems-level change, including prior work with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the American Association of Public Land-Grant Universities, and the American Association of State Colleges and Universities. She earned her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) and Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from St. Edward’s University.
