“Nearly a quarter of all college students in Texas are also parents to one or more children. This initiative will help ensure that two generations have the chance to achieve their educational goals,” said Trellis Foundation’s Executive Director Kristin Boyer. “We’re excited about this initiative to expand Head Start program sites throughout Texas and provide affordable childcare for a growing number of community college student parents.”

Trellis Foundation joins ECMC Foundation, Imaginable Futures, Casey Foundation, Crimsonbridge Foundation, and Seldin / Haring-Smith Foundation to support NHSA and ACCT in facilitating and supporting new contracts between campuses and Head Start operators.
