At Trellis Foundation, we believe that centering students in the development and advocacy of higher education policy leads to better policies. In 2023, Trellis Foundation awarded a total of $1 million to four advocacy nonprofits to support the participation of current and recent Texas college students in policy fellowship programs. In 2025, we caught up with these fellows during the Texas legislative session.
